Find the style that feels like home

Most families know what they like when they see it, not by name. Browse the looks people are choosing for their flats, see what each one is made from, and what it costs.

Ideas from real Indian homes on Pinterest

Style photos are inspiration from Unsplash photographers and studios, not homes we have built, and 3D renders are labelled. Every Gharkala home is designed for your flat, your family and your budget.

Know what your home is made of

Two wardrobes can look the same on day one and very different after five years. The difference is the board, the finish and the hinges. Here’s what each one is, where it belongs and where it doesn’t.

Brands you know. Commitments in writing.

Your quote names the brand of every board, hinge, tap and tile. We buy through authorised dealers, show you the invoices, and back the work with promises that go into your contract.

  • Brand and invoicechecked by you before anything is fitted
  • 45-day handoverwith the date written into your contract
  • Pay as work happensonly 10% to book, after you approve the design
  • 1-year warrantyon our workmanship, on top of manufacturer warranties
  • Free 6-month check-uphinges, channels and shutters adjusted at no charge
  • Weekly photo updateson WhatsApp, from day one to handover

Logos and brand names are trademarks of their owners, shown only to identify the materials we specify. Gharkala is not an official partner of, or endorsed by, these companies unless stated above. The exact brands depend on your level and are confirmed in your quote.

Pay for your interiors in EMIs

Most families don’t pay for interiors in one go. HDFC Bank, SBI and ICICI Bank, like most banks, lend for home interiors in three ways. We give you the itemised quote and GST invoices the bank asks for, and help with the paperwork.

Usually the lowest rate

Top-up on your home loan

Already paying a home loan? Your bank can lend more against the same flat, at close to your home loan rate and for up to its remaining term.

Best for
Families with a home loan and a good repayment record
Good to know
SBI offers Home Top Up to its home loan customers. HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank offer top-ups on their home loans too.

For built-in work

Home renovation loan

A loan against a home you own, for fixed work such as painting, flooring, electrical work, false ceilings and built-in wardrobes and kitchens.

Best for
Owners without a home loan who want a longer tenure
Good to know
HDFC Bank funds up to 90% of the estimate for new customers and up to 100% for existing ones, for fixed furniture only, over up to 15 years. Banks ask for a written estimate, which your itemised quote provides.

Fastest to get

Personal loan

An unsecured loan with no property papers, often approved within days. The interest rate is higher and the tenure shorter.

Best for
Smaller amounts, loose furniture, or starting straight away
Good to know
HDFC Bank, SBI and ICICI Bank all offer personal loans. Compare the interest rate and processing fee before you sign.

Gharkala is not a bank or a loan agent. Your bank decides eligibility, amount, interest rate and tenure, and terms change, so confirm with the bank before you apply. Interest on a loan used to renovate a home you live in may be deductible up to ₹30,000 a year under Section 24(b) in the old tax regime, but not in the new regime. Check with your CA.

Three levels, chosen item by item

Basic is built on site by carpenters. Medium and Premium are modular units made in a factory. You can mix them, for example a modular kitchen with carpenter-made wardrobes to balance cost and finish.

Item

Typical home: kitchen cabinets, a wardrobe in every bedroom, TV unit, shoe rack, bathroom vanities, painting, lights and a deep clean. If a brand runs out of stock we suggest an equivalent, and nothing changes without your approval.

What your price covers, and what it doesn’t

What we put in writing

A good design matters, but so does what happens after you pay. These go into your contract.

Check every brand yourself

Boards and hardware reach your flat with the brand marking and invoice. Check them before anything is fitted.

Photos every week

A WhatsApp update with photos of what got done and what happens next, so you never have to chase us.

Pay as the work happens

10% to book, 50% when work starts, 35% at installation and 5% after you approve the final checklist.

1-year workmanship warranty

If a shutter sags or a drawer sticks, we come back and fix it. Manufacturer warranties on boards and hardware apply on top.

A free check-up at 6 months

Once you’ve lived in your home for a while, we adjust hinges, channels and shutters so everything still closes perfectly.

A clean, respectful site

We follow your society’s working hours and lift rules, and clear debris as we go, not just at the end.

From keys to handover in 45 days

Carpentry, factory production, ceiling, wiring and painting run side by side instead of one after another. That’s how your home is ready in weeks, not months.

    Free site visit

We measure every wall, check plumbing and electrical points, and note your society’s rules.

  3. Day 8

Design and price are frozen, and your handover date goes into the contract.

  4. Days 9 to 30

    Carpentry and production

Carpenters build Basic items on site while modular units are made in the factory. Ceiling and wiring happen alongside.

  5. Days 31 to 42

Kitchen, wardrobes, TV unit and beds go in, followed by lights, fittings and the final coat of paint.

  6. Days 43 to 45

    Final checklist and handover

We walk every room with you, fix everything on the list and deep-clean. Then you move in.

    Questions people ask before booking

What does the ₹2.5 lakh 2 BHK include?

Kitchen cabinets, a wardrobe in each bedroom, a TV unit, a shoe rack, vanities in both bathrooms, painting for the whole flat, light and switch changes, and a deep clean, all at the Basic level. Add anything else, or move any item up to Medium or Premium, in the estimate above.

    Can I pay in EMIs?

Yes, through your bank. The usual routes are a top-up on your home loan, a home renovation loan or a personal loan, all offered by HDFC Bank, SBI and ICICI Bank. We give you the itemised quote and GST invoices the bank asks for, and your bank decides the amount and rate.

Can interiors be added to my home loan?

Usually not to the original loan, because banks lend on the flat’s agreement value, which doesn’t include interiors. Once you have a home loan, you can ask the same bank for a top-up, which is usually priced close to your home loan rate. Ask your bank what applies to you.

What’s the difference between Basic, Medium and Premium?

Basic items are built on site by our carpenters, which keeps the cost down. Medium items are modular units made in a factory, with cleaner edges, soft-close fittings and faster installation. Premium is modular too, with plywood boxes, acrylic or PU finishes, organisers and top-end hardware.

Can you build any style, like European or Japandi?

Yes. The style decides the look: mouldings for European, light wood for Japandi, jaali and brass for contemporary Indian. The level decides the materials underneath. We show you both in your 3D design before you pay anything.

Where do the style photos come from?

They’re inspiration photos from Unsplash photographers and studios, not homes we have built, and 3D renders are labelled as renders. As we complete homes in Gurugram, we’ll show them here with the owners’ permission.

Do I pay anything for the design?

No. The site visit, 3D design and itemised quote are free. Your first payment is the booking amount, and only after you approve the design and price.

Does the estimate on this page include GST?

No. The estimate is before GST so you can compare it with other quotes. Your final quote shows GST as a separate line.

What if you miss the handover date?

The handover date is written into your contract, along with what we owe you if we miss it for reasons in our control. Delays caused by changes you ask for, or by society restrictions, move the date by the time they add.

Tell us your society and flat size. We’ll come and measure, free.
